Beadon Farmhouse was once a working dairy and now a welcoming family home, with two acres of beautiful gardens and countryside views.
Set in an organic wildflower garden, the farmhouse is a peaceful spot where you can completely switch off, surrounded by uninterrupted views of rolling Devon countryside, with maybe a sheep or two and not much else.
It’s hard to believe you are only a short walk to the historic fishing town and harbour of Salcombe, the South West Coast Path and the beaches at North and South Sands.
EXPLORE SALCOMBE
From the farmhouse garden gate, you’ll have easy access to stunning sandy beaches, sweeping estuary views, crystal clear water, rolling countryside and wildlife in abundance. For walkers and seasoned ramblers, the South West Coast path is a popular option, as well as a selection of woodland trails and countryside rambles. Salcombe with its shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs is just a 15 minute stroll downhill (the uphill walk home may take slightly longer!). And if you fancy sand between your toes, North Sands beach (and the Winking Prawn Beach Cafe) is just a 10 minute walk down a peaceful country track. National Trust property Overbeck’s is a 40 minute walk or two mile drive.

By car
London to Salcombe takes approximately 4.5 hours. After passing the Salcombe town signs, turn first right into Beadon Road. Take what appears to be the second right, but is actually still Beadon Road. The drive for Beadon Farmhouse is on the right before the tarmac road turns into a track.
By train
It takes just over 3 hours to travel from London Paddington or London Waterloo to Totnes. Taxi from to Totnes to Salcombe takes 40 minutes.
By air
Exeter is the closest airport.
By taxi
There are plenty of taxi companies in the area. Booking in advance is recommended.
